Also tried to enter Wc3Campaigns.net, but couldn't enter either...

Huh? what does that mean? I dont understand how that comes out in a noncommando mission. esp the sacrificing and delaying part.

It's true that building missions sometimes are a bit boring, getting upgrades especially takes too much time. But then I like the way you have to fight tooth and nail sometimes to keep your position, crush the enemie's defenses... especially since I like the role play approach, you know, never sacrificing useless or wounded units, delaying an attack to save a unit... so this constraint combined with a decent AI and an interesting mission can be really fun. The problem with commando missions is that making a mistake that may cost you the mission is too easy, and I hate having to save all the time. Still, I like them too.

The other day, I found on my external HD an old mission I must have created 6 years ago (I was making a campaign in which the Protoss were retaking Aiur and defeating Kerrigan, how unimaginative), in which me and one of my brother were voicing over for the briefing! We recorded the text on a poor microphone, using our deepest voice and speaking slightly faster so that by slowing down the sound you would get an even deeper voice. It was really fun to hear again, though it made me feel a bit ridiculous too

About the scenario, I'm sure a few things at least are almost certain : Duran is a Xel Naga, they weren't wiped out by the Zerg as was originally thought, and they are more like crazy scientists than pacific spacefaring wise. And now they want to make those blasted hybrids, or rather they have seeded them everywhere, and it's gonna be really tough to get rid of all of them, because from what has transpired, the ideal form of life for the Xel Naga looks more like a xenomorph from Aliens (at least in terms of behaviour, cf Ash's belief in the movie that the Alien is a "perfect organism, free of the delusions of morality") than like a Terran or a Protoss.

I lov missions with lotsa triggahs and voiceovers and events. I HATE building missions.... D: the same tech tree pattern bores me... thats why WC3 designers put creeps so heroes didnt need to be holed up in bases building basic structures, during the beginning of each game. Creeps differ on different maps, and rewards can be different, adding to the diverse flavor.

The sequel scenario... hmm... i just wish i could see what zeratul saw in that last vat...

BTW, I did what you suggested and finished the bonus mission. Not my favourite kind of mission but it's very interesting for the sequel's scenario.

"operation cwal" is a cheat for making everything you reasearch, upg, build go super fast. You know that right?

It stands for Operation Can't Wait Any Longer. I think it was about some fan made group that basically ranted for blizzard to make a certain game, i dunno, about a sequel to a game. Operation CWALII is a society that used to rile against blizz to make a sequel to SC. Now that they got their wish i think they disbanded... i dunno. It was composed of Sc.org members, mostly.

I think it's when you connect to battlenet with The Frozen Throne, it downloads the rest of the orc campaign if you haven't got it already.
Guess what? A few years ago, when I first played SC, I wasn't able to beat the Brood War zerg campaign, for some reason I was never fast enough in the mission where you have to use dark templars to kill the new Overmind, and in the end I always got beaten up pretty badly. I am such a lame player (it's only recently that I discovered that zerglings are actually usefull!) Anyway, I did it this WE, and though this isn't a huge feat, I am really happy with myself. Now I have to beat the next level in less than 25 min to activate the secret level ^^
